My philosophy on standard features is that a handmade guitar should include only high quality materials and features. I choose my materials very carefully and include features like front and rear peghead overlays, all wood rosettes, and side purflings as standard on all my guitars. I do offer upgrades for the player who desires to have the "ultimate" materials available. I also provide features like custom neck widths and profiles, alternate scale lengths, and non-standard fretwire as no-cost options.

In addition every Caldwell guitar carries a lifetime warranty to the original owner. Warranty does not include normal wear and tear or physical damage to the guitar. It does include things like action adjustments, minor fret dressing, and truss rod adjustments. Shipping is not included.
